About me
About me…what is there about me that anyone would want to know? I am just like a million other women…I love Jesus, my family and this life I am blessed to be living. I am seeking God daily and begging Him to make my life worth more than a hill a beans once it’s over! He is the only One Who is able to accomplish that.
I lost the one person in my life on December 24th, 2009 who saw what I really am and loved me anyway. Rick was my hero and I told him that often. He was the best husband, friend and father anyone could be blessed to have and I miss him. I miss his smile, his hands, his laugh, his ability to do just about anything, his God-given gift to teach like none I have ever known, his love for others, and His love of God.
I am learning daily that God wants to be fully engaged with us in this life. It’s up to us whether we allow that. Up to me. How much am I willing to believe Him for? How much am I willing to give? Am I willing to listen, change and do the work? Can I accept His grace and the fact that He loves me even when life is hard and seems out of control?
On a lighter side…I love gardening, cooking, reading, blogging, playing with my sweet grandchildren, spending time with all my kids and teaching and speaking the Word of God. I love young women and moms and helping them love Jesus. I love the Lord…and the life He is allowing me to live.
He is Worthy!
